Discover what it takes to earn the Certified Records Manager designation and its benefits.
Our SpeakerSusan Whitmire, is manager of enterprise records and information management at
BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, and was recently inducted into the Company of
Fellows by ARMA International, a not-for-profit professional organization
focused on building expertise in managing records and information. One of only 43 individuals to receive this level of international recognition

distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements and contributions in
records and information management, as well as noteworthy accomplishments in all
levels of the association.

insurance industry, Whitmire's experience ranges from creating RIM programs from
scratch and managing physical and electronic records, to developing imaging and
email technology.
Whitmire joined ARMA in 1978 and has held various positions at all levels,
including chapter and regional, as well as serving two terms on the ARMA
